People suck!

So what kind of company hires someone with the understanding that they will get "on the job" training and then lets them go 2.5 days later because they "are not picking it up"? And without a warning or even a mention that the work was anything but fine???? Something just ain't right here.

Me thinks the office manager was TOLD to hire her, but that the office manager wanted someone else. So first chance she got she let her go. Nothing else really makes any sense. I've had many jobs in my life, and even been the manager enough times to know that's not how you do things. We had bought the wife new clothes for this job, she had quit her old job, we had rearranged our lives for this job and then they give her 2.5 days???? What kinda crap is that really????

And they had told here that there was no drama there, but boy where they wrong. That there is major drama, and for no reason. Never heard of a office more poorly ran in my life.

House Sherlock Homes?

So was watching house tonight, and I've read and read about how House is the Sherlock Homes of medicine... but I'm not so sure, because I haven't read Sir Arther Doyle as of late, but I don't remember Sherlock bumbling around so much to find his answers, he either KNEW the answer, for sure. Or he suspected, and just kept quit until he KNEW. Not House, house come up with something that fits, and attacks if full force like it's the only possibility, until, after about an hour, he finally gets it right....

Homes didn't do that, even when lives WERE on the line...

But of course medicine doesn't a crime mystery make, except of course sometimes when it does. So I think the comparison of House/Homes is a poor one, even if the creators had that in mind themselves.....

So I truly wonder if maybe, just maybe, House is something more original, by chance since the design was otherwise..... He's really more Einstein then Homes really, but still doesn't fit....

I think we truly have something here...... something that grew accidently out of something else....

Dreamer or the Dream...

Ever wonder if we're the Dreamer....or the dream? And I just can't get over the fact that life just seems to random......to be random. I string the threads of fate together to make sense of it all.... but when I look at it all I get is a senseless tangle, that much like a spiders web seems surreal, beautiful, and deadly...all at once. And I get the feeling if I could just back far enough away from it, the pattern would start to form, but then I notice is knotted together with other patterns all around it.....and the pattern is just to big to hold....
